Bishkek is the capital of Kyrgyzstan. This city can be used as a gateway to the rest of the country, or as a base from which to do day trips, or longer trips. It’s also close to Almaty in Kazakhstan. Inside the city you can do free walking tours, visit museums and the Osh Bazaar, the local marketplace. Just outside the city you have some beautiful nature at only around an hour by car, like the Ala Archa National Park.
