Important information
How to get here?
There are no public transport options available, so the only way to get here is by Yandex Go (taxi). This will cost around 800 som (around 8 euros).
For the way back you have to be lucky and have a Yandex Go available. If there are no taxis you can go back by lifting to Biskhek. It’s a challenge to get back from this area, but especially on the weekends there should be taxis in this area around 13:00.
Another option would be to make a deal with your Yandex for bringing you back to Bishkek. I don’t know how expensive this would be, but expect to pay a bit more.
What to do?
If you decide to go to the location above you have to look around and decide for yourself where you want to hike. There are no trails or information available. We decided to walk to the woods on the left side of the road. In these woods you have nice views and you can walk around for a few hours.
This is a bit of a weird area, because there is almost no information available, but still very beautiful and worth a visit. If you are looking for an easy day out I would recommend going to Ala Archa National Park instead, but if you’re looking for a bit of a challenge this area is perfect.
Weather and clothing
You can walk as much as you want here, so decide for yourself if you need hiking shoes or not. The path is not difficult, but that also depends on where you decide to walk in this area.
Additional information
There is no official entrance and you can walk around here for free. Because this is not an “official” park, there are also no signs or information. We decided to walk around, and from the main road go to the forest on the mountain.
