How to get here
The easiest and cheapest way of getting here will be by using the Metro. Use AMap to find the metro route from your location. Another more expensive option will be by using a Didi (taxi).
You can buy tickets using the WeChat Mini Program, which you can find here: WeChat Mini Program
Once you are in the Mini Program, you can translate the page by pressing the three points icon on the top right. There should be a “Translate” option.
You can also just go to the entrance and try buying tickets there. If this for some reason isn’t available you can ask around your accommodation for help using the Mini Program.
What to do
You can walk around the complex of Confucian temples, and spend some time outside the busy streets of Beijing. The highlight of the area is the Temple of Heaven itself. The whole area is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the right season there will be a lot of blossoms and flowers.
Weather and clothing
Dress according to the season. Bring normal shoes that are comfortable for walking.
